After Meta and TikTok, Snap settles lawsuit over addictive Snapchat features

Snap, Snapchat’s parent company, has reached a settlement with two American teenagers. This avoids a closely watched trial over social media’s alleged addictive effects and possible mental harm to young people. Meta, TikTok and YouTube had previously avoided similar trials. The settlement ends a lawsuit over these allegations.
