Karnataka HC sentences man to three months’ imprisonment for forging court order

The Karnataka High Court has sentenced a man to three months’ simple imprisonment for criminal contempt. The court found him guilty of forging a 2017 order by altering its date and adding names of people who had not filed petitions. The sentence was imposed after the court established that the document had been falsified.
