Washington imposes new round of sanctions on Cuba

The United States has imposed a new round of sanctions on Cuba. The measures target Cuba’s electronics sector and Any Rodríguez Lastres, the daughter of Gaesa’s chairman, the economic-military conglomerate. The new measures thus target both an economic sector and a family member of a senior Gaesa official.
