Women's Masters lose defending champion Elena Rybakina

Elena Rybakina will not defend her title at the women's Masters. The Kazakh tennis player has withdrawn from the prestigious year-end tournament, which will therefore continue without its reigning champion. Her absence means the field is missing a major name, while further results and developments on the international tennis tour are being followed.
