Prison and fines for gang that forced Chinese women into prostitution

A Ghent court has sentenced 33 people to prison terms of up to seven years and ordered fines totalling €696,000 for forcing Chinese women into prostitution over several years. The ruling said the defendants profited from the women’s work.
