Belgians’ commute to work longer than an hour a day for the first time

Belgian workers now spend an average of 61 minutes travelling to and from work each day, exceeding one hour for the first time. The figure comes from an international study by HR services provider SD Worx, reported by Flemish newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws. Belgium’s average is 13 minutes longer than the European average of 48 minutes.
