Brussels shootings: Interion Minister Quintin wants e-scooter number plates

Belgian Interior Minister Bernard Quintin has proposed requiring electric scooters to carry number plates. He presented the plan to the House Home Affairs Committee, which was discussing recent shootings linked to clashes between drug gangs in Brussels. Quintin said scooters are frequently involved in drug-related violence and that identification plates could strengthen efforts against organised crime.
