No second tower for Antwerp Cathedral

Antwerp Cathedral will not receive a second tower made from beams of light for now. A record 7,000 residents of Antwerp’s City District took part in a vote on spending from a budget supporting public participation. They chose 42 other projects to receive funding, leaving the illuminated cathedral proposal without support in this round.
