Fraudsters stole over 17,000 euros from Prince Laurent and Princess Claire

Leuven prosecutors are seeking prison terms of up to 15 months for four people accused of defrauding Prince Laurent and Princess Claire. The couple, who live in Tervuren, Flemish Brabant, were targeted in a phishing scam in 2021. More than €17,000 was withdrawn from their accounts, and prosecutors are pursuing the case in Leuven.
