Flemish Government reaches agreement on budget

Flanders’ government coalition has approved next year’s budget and its accompanying financial calculations, averting a political crisis. The agreement brings together N-VA, CD&V and Vooruit, the three parties governing the region. A political deal was reached on Tuesday, but Vooruit temporarily withdrew support after finding discrepancies between the calculations and the earlier agreement.
