Indaver turns incinerated waste into materials for pavements and car parks

Indaver at the Port of Antwerp will sell incinerated residual waste from grey household rubbish bags as construction material. The company extracts various raw materials from the ash of waste incinerators, which construction firms can use for pavements and car parks, among other things. According to Indaver’s Inge Baertsoen, this approach could significantly reduce CO2 emissions in the long term. The material thus gets a new use.
