He sparks panic with AI-generated image and faces three years in prison

A Singapore resident pleaded guilty after using Gemini to create a fake image purportedly showing a saltwater crocodile at Pandan Reservoir. The image triggered 24 hours of panic in the city-state. The site was closed and inspected by two national agencies, which found no animal. The man faces up to three years in prison.
