WATCH. New islets emerge after volcanic eruption in Indonesia

Two new islets have formed following a series of eruptions at Indonesia’s Anak Krakatau volcano. According to Indonesia’s volcanology agency PVMBG, satellite images show the formations less than one kilometre from the volcano. The islands appeared after last month’s eruptions in the Sunda Strait, between Java and Sumatra.
