Anonymous €100,000 donation saves Ostend animal shelter

The Blue Cross of Belgium animal shelter in Ostend says it received an anonymous €100,000 donation after appealing for help. Its crowdfunding campaign raised more than €17,000 additionally. President William Springuel says the center is “saved for now” and responds to criticism of its management.
