In Brussels, PS suffers defeat over taxi rules

In Brussels, new taxis will have to be electric from 2027. The Socialist Party (PS) tried to secure another postponement of this requirement within the Brussels government. The request failed after difficult political discussions. The measure therefore keeps the planned deadline for the sector’s transition to electric vehicles.
