War: €530bn extra, a third of Russia’s spending goes to the military

Russia plans to allocate €530 billion to defence and the arms industry over the next three years, according to its budget documents. The sum would account for more than a third of Russian public spending. It would be a record amount for the country. In Belgium, defence currently accounts for 3.44% of GDP.
