Tom Boonen extorted after 2005 world title: ransom for jersey, medal

Tom Boonen says on the programme ‘Happy Hour’ that he was extorted after winning the world title in Madrid in 2005. While out celebrating, the Belgian cyclist gave his rainbow jersey and medal to someone for safekeeping. That person then demanded a ransom for returning both items. Boonen looks back on the night of celebrations.
