Young designers envision future between Lier and Herentals

Three teams of young designers spent a week developing future plans for the railway connection between Lier and Herentals. They did so together with Antwerp Province and the University of Antwerp. Infrabel wants to close dangerous level crossings there to improve safety. The designers are therefore examining the entire route, as traffic may shift elsewhere.
