Prisons and closed centres can hire staff faster until 2030

Accelerated recruitment procedures now apply to prisons, return services and closed centres of the Immigration Office (DVZ). The measure will remain in force until 2030 and is intended to help the public services concerned find staff more quickly. The royal decree by the competent ministers, Annelies Verlinden (CD&V) and Anneleen Van Bossuyt (N-VA), was published in the Belgian Official Gazette on Friday.
