Thibaut Courtois 'considered quitting Belgium duty', but World Cup changed things

Thibaut Courtois says he considered retiring from international football after the World Cup. The goalkeeper ultimately remained available for Belgium after the tournament influenced his decision. He will skip the upcoming Nations League, however. Courtois says he was removed from the Red Devils' WhatsApp group because of this.
