Guido Dumarey aims to put a Belgian engine in F1 via Alpine takeover

Entrepreneur Guido Dumarey of Sint-Martens-Latem is taking over Alpine Racing from Renault through his Dumarey Group. This gives him control of the French engine plant in Viry-Châtillon and its activities. Dumarey wants to develop Formula 1 engines there again and supply a team with a Belgian power unit by 2029.
