Mediahuis braces for new round of layoffs

Publisher Mediahuis has a special works council meeting scheduled for Tuesday. The meeting comes as the company prepares for a new round of layoffs. Mediahuis publishes Nieuwsblad and De Standaard, among others; trade union ACV Puls confirms that the works council will take place. The plans and their impact on staff may be discussed there.
