Belgians collectively walk from Earth to Pluto every year

According to figures from Belgium’s FPS Mobility, each Belgian walks an average of more than 500 kilometres a year. Together, that amounts to about 6 billion kilometres. The total distance approaches the average distance between Earth and Pluto, the dwarf planet at the edge of our solar system. This is an annual calculation for Belgium.
