Herent-Kortenberg police conduct bus checks to combat home burglaries

The Herent-Kortenberg police zone (HerKo) will carry out extra patrols and checks over the coming months to prevent home burglaries. Police will also raise residents’ awareness, as the number of burglaries rises when it gets dark earlier. In addition, buses and trains will be checked: thieves sometimes use public transport.
