2026 Prix Médicis: Philippe Vasset wins for his account beneath power lines

Philippe Vasset won the 2026 Prix Médicis for “Dans les grandes lignes,” an account devoted to landscapes crossed by very-high-voltage power lines. The book offers a literary journey beneath giant pylons, observing these infrastructures and the territories they shape. The award thus honors a work focused on these distinctive spaces.
