Quarter of Belgians always go to work, even when they are ill

More than a quarter of Belgian employees say they always go to work when ill, according to Mensura’s biennial survey of over 1,000 workers. The wellbeing and prevention service says illness and fitness for work are not always clear-cut. It warns that presenteeism—working while sick because of internal or external pressure—remains widespread.
