Paul Gheysens, 72, risks criminal record over illegal PFAS soil storage

Property developer Paul Gheysens (72) appeared before the court in Kortrijk over illegal soil storage at his golf project in Knokke-Heist. PFAS was found in some of the soil. A fine is looming, but Gheysens mainly fears consequences for his foreign projects, for which he needs visas. His lawyer accuses Peter Taffeiren of applying legal pressure and taking over the project.
