Tram tracks in Ghent's Burgstraat and Rabotstraat to be renewed

From late 2027, the tram tracks in Ghent's Burgstraat and Rabotstraat will be completely renewed. The road surface, pavements, sewer system and several tram stops will also undergo a thorough overhaul. The city says the road surface is in a deplorable condition. The tracks are worn out after 35 years, and the works will also address residents' complaints.
