German pediatrician accused of sexually assaulting more than 70 minors

The trial of a German pediatrician accused of sexually assaulting more than 70 children and adolescents opened Monday in Brandenburg, the region surrounding Berlin in eastern Germany. The alleged offenses are said to have occurred over more than ten years. The hearing will now examine the accusations before a German court.
