Organizers of Antwerp’s Spanish Fury event respond to visitor criticism

The large-scale show marking 450 years since the Spanish Fury on Antwerp’s Grote Markt was difficult for many visitors to follow. Because of the unexpectedly large turnout, spectators could not see or hear parts of the performance properly. The district mayor and the theater company involved acknowledge that not all elements came across as intended. Some attendees had expected more.
