Middelkerke campsite residents must leave by 31 December

Residents of Camping RACB in Middelkerke must leave their mobile homes by 31 December at the latest. The municipality appointed Westend Resort Group as the new concession holder for the campsite and adjacent golf course. The group plans to fully renew the infrastructure and says the evacuation is necessary for safety reasons. Residents call the barely three-month deadline inhumane and point to the difficulty of moving their mobile homes.
