2026 Goncourt Prize: the eight authors still in the running

The 2026 Goncourt Prize has entered its final phase, with the selection narrowed to eight authors. This list will determine who succeeds Laurent Mauvignier, winner of the previous edition. The next winner will be chosen from these eight candidates, marking the final stretch of the competition before the official announcement of the new Goncourt laureate.
