Chocomel wins trademark rights to yellow color

Chocomel, the chocolate brand and dairy drink made by Dutch dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina, has been granted exclusive trademark rights to the use of yellow on packaging for chocolate milk. In Belgium, the product was sold under the name Cécémel until earlier this year. The trademark protection will now legally link the yellow packaging color to Chocomel within the chocolate milk product category.
